Goldstone is a man-made material. Its history goes back
hundreds of years. The traditional color has always
been a rich coppery color and that is true "Goldstone."
It originally was used for fine jewelry items, set in gold
and perhaps made into matching beads.
Now we have preforms made from not only the traditional
Goldstone but also in two other rich colors.
Midnight Blue Goldstone
and
Deep Pines Green Goldstone.

This is a man-made art glass. The shading and patterns will
vary. Once in a while there will be white in
areas or even be a bit of black swirled here and there.
All and all, this is very interesting and pretty stuff. It
works well, too!
The
width of each piece is about 1-1/2".
We aim for a
thickness of about 1/4" though that will vary somewhat,
too.
