Don Dickson has written some short articles for your enjoyment and
exploration. For those of you who do not know Don, he is a well respected archeologist
and flintknapper, with particular expertise in lithics, lithic sources, and Ozark prehistoric peoples.
His expertise regarding lithics, rock, strata, and the geological formations is
widely known. Don is responsible for excavating Calf Creek
Cave and naming the Calf Creek and Searcy points. I doubt anyone knows our
Ozark hills and mountains better than this gentleman. |

(Your copy will be signed by Don)
Don Dickson is a highly respected archeologist living in the
Ozarks. He is responsible for excavating Calf Creek Cave, naming the
Calf Creek and Searcy points. While Don is a professional, he has
purposely written
this book so that the layman can easily understand it as well as
the professional archeologist. His illustrations and research are of impeccable
quality and detail. I doubt anyone knows these hills and mountains
better than Don.
